Description
Our first Connected Learning Festival celebrates the learning and teaching of English, French and Spanish for upper primary and secondary school pupils. We have a lighter programme of events for nursery and lower Primary pupils too.
Through short videos and 3D animations, our characters and their avatars take teachers and their learners from the comfort of their classroom to our virtual land where everything is possible!
Around The World In Eighty Minutes is an interactive on screen learning experience based on the classic Jules Verne novel Around the World in Eighty Days.
Students follow the adventures and mishaps of Phileas Fogg of London and his newly employed French valet Passepartout as they attempt to circumnavigate the world in 80 minutes on a £50,000 bet set by his friends at the Reform Club. Specially designed for learners of English aged between 8 and 14.
Around the World in Eighty Minutes comes with accompanying classroom materials which include a scene by scene summary of the plot with key vocabulary, games, group activities to do in the classroom and project work on language, diversity and culture.
