Our first Connected Learning Festival celebrates the learning and teaching of English, French and Spanish for upper primary and secondary school pupils. We have a lighter programme of events for nursery and lower Primary pupils too.
Through short videos and 3D animations, our characters and their avatars take teachers and their learners from the comfort of their classroom to our virtual land where everything is possible!
Home learning: Some tasks and challenges are given to learners to take home to their parents/carers. Involving the school wider community makes the Festival a happier one!
Share what learners produce with other schools from other countries on Padlet. Practitioners are given ideas on how to record what is produced by their learners and to create an exhibition which can be shared on Padlet and/or within their own school.
Practitioners can access some of the activities in more than one language. If French, English or Spanish happen to be the mother tongue of their learners, they can still use our resources to enhance skills linked to literacy and other areas of the curriculum.
Teacher’s Notes guide practitioners throughout our Festival. Teachers find out how to embed a foreign language into their curriculum, thus integrating Content and Language together. Pupils develop their language skills through stimulating activities and engaging characters!
